1. Product Page Timer

Display countdown timers directly on product pages to create urgency for limited-time offers.

• Placement options: Below add-to-cart, in description, as a section, or bottom bar
• Target specific products or entire collections
• Exclude specific products from showing the timer

2. Top/Bottom Bar Timer

A fixed announcement bar that stays visible as customers browse your store.

• Position at top or bottom of the page
• Optional sticky behavior while scrolling
• Show on all pages, homepage only, or specific page types
• Optional close button for visitors

3. Landing Page Timer

A prominent card-style timer perfect for collection pages and homepage promotions.

• Centered, eye-catching display
• Customizable background (solid, gradient, or image)
• Great for seasonal sales and collection promotions

4. Cart Page Timer

Creates urgency at the most critical point in the customer journey - the cart.

• Works on cart page and cart drawer/sidebar
• Per-session countdown (e.g., “Your cart expires in 15 minutes”)
• Optional cart clearing when timer expires
• Reduces cart abandonment

5. Email Timer

Embeddable countdown image for email marketing campaigns.

• SVG-based timer that works in most email clients
• Copy embed code directly into your email templates

Standard Mode

Counts down to a specific date and time. Perfect for:

• Sale end dates
• Product launches
• Event countdowns
• Shipping deadlines

Daily Recurring Mode

Automatically resets and repeats on a schedule. Options include:

• Daily: Resets every day at a specified time
• Weekly: Active on specific days of the week
• Monthly: Resets on a specific day each month

Great for daily deals, happy hours, or recurring promotions.

Fixed Minutes Mode

Each visitor gets their own personal countdown. The timer starts when they first visit and persists across page loads.

• Creates individual urgency per visitor
• Perfect for “limited time offer” promotions
• Session-based persistence

Timer not showing on my store

• Ensure the app embed is enabled in Theme Settings → App Embeds
• Check that the timer is set to “Active”
• Verify the timer hasn't expired (check end date)
• Confirm placement settings match the page you're viewing
• Clear your browser cache and try again

Timer shows wrong time

• Check the timezone setting matches your intended timezone
• For recurring timers, verify the start and end times are correct
• Remember that visitors see the timer in their local time calculation

Cart timer not appearing in cart drawer

• The app supports most popular themes' cart drawers
• Some heavily customized themes may need additional configuration
• Contact support if your theme's cart drawer isn't supported

Design not matching my theme

• The timer automatically inherits your theme's font when set to “inherit”
• Adjust colors in the design settings to match your brand
• Use the preview feature to see changes before publishing

How many timers can I create?

The number of timers depends on your plan. Free plan allows 1 timer, while paid plans offer unlimited timers.

Will the timer slow down my store?

No. The timer is optimized for performance with external CSS/JS files that are cached by browsers and served from Shopify's CDN. The impact on page load is minimal.

Can I show different timers on different products?

Yes! You can create multiple product page timers and target them to specific products or collections. Each product can show a different timer based on your configuration.

What happens when the timer ends?

You can configure the end behavior: hide the timer, show a custom “ended” message, or for cart timers, optionally clear the cart.

Does it work with all Shopify themes?

Yes, the app is built as a theme app extension and works with all Shopify themes, including Online Store 2.0 themes and legacy themes.

Can I use it for evergreen/fake countdown timers?

The Fixed Minutes mode creates per-visitor countdowns, which is a legitimate way to create urgency. We encourage using timers truthfully and in compliance with advertising regulations in your region.
